We allow all kind of cars in our parking lot, some guests (especially divers) do rent pick-up/ dive truck others just regular cars. We are very sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with our front desk staff due to the upgrade and check-out, our renovated Studio's are our most expensive rooms, but we do understand that you prefer the closeness to the ocean and fish. Very disappointed in the office help this year. I love this place for the ocean and location. The dive trucks should park on the street. Some times you have to park on the street. ![]() They allow dive trucks and others to park in the guest parking lot. A very small parking lot is provided for rental cars. Finally, that was corrected but not an apology.Īnother problem is parking. They apparently didn’t check the cards which they pass out. They charged two bills to us that weren’t ours for food and drinks. This shouldn’t have happened.Ĭhecking out was a problem too. I argued with them until they put me where I belonged. ![]() Actually online the studios were cheaper, so it wasn’t an upgrade. If I wanted the studio with a kitchen, I would have paid for it. We stay in deluxe to watch the ocean fish from our balcony, literally five feet away. The studio was not on the water but a distance from the water. This time not great.įirst, checking in they tried to “upgrade” us to a studio. You can jump into the water just feet from the deluxe rooms. I love the location and closeness to the ocean and fish. The resort and workers were so fun and nice. After organizing these details- I had a great time. At one point I had to tell the person at the dive shop that I am asking questions Bc I do not know the answer. I just felt like they are use to the same divers coming years after years or divers that have been to Bonaire many times that they aren’t use to new people asking questions. I just asked them to let me know if things opened up and things always did. I went on boat dives and did everything I wanted. And I kept being told everything was booked up and I should have scheduled ahead. I asked if I could pay for it to be done when I arrived and I was told ‘no Bc people that fly in are tired and dehydrated.’ I’m a mom of young kids. So I lost a half day of diving for this 20 min orientation. When I got there the shop wouldn’t let us dive until the next day after this orientation they only do at 930am. So I didn’t schedule anything or get my questions answered but everything sounds like there needs to be zero plans and diving is easy there. I had the same issue with emailing the dive shop- never got a return email. So I had unanswered questions that honestly worked out just fine. I called and was one hold for over an hour and then left a message. I had a real difficult time contacting the location with my questions.
